- What is it? – It’s a system that automatically waters your plants – even when you’re not there! It uses “micro-irrigation” to deliver the water and small doses of liquid fertilizer to your plants.
- What is micro-irrigation? – It’s an easy to set-up, above-ground irrigation system that uses the same flexible tubing found in commercial greenhouses. It is designed to deliver the water right where its needed using drip or fine mist nozzles so you use less water than regular irrigation systems. Recommended for Florida Friendly yards.
- Why does it add fertilizer? - The continuous application of very small doses of liquid fertilizer makes plants stronger and healthier; they are more resistant to pests and disease and they need less water.
- What do I need? – You need an outside spigot (hose bibb). The Patio Greenhouse system runs on water-flow, it does not use electricity.
