Job Description

• Services existing accounts providing pricing, delivery information and rudimentary technical support to increase account growth
• Pre-qualifies new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations
• Fills sales orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs
• Maintains relationships with customers and works as team member with other sales personnel
• Accesses, updates and maintains customer data base and record keeping system for individual accounts
• Maintains and improves quality results by following procedures and recommending improvements to those procedures

Requirements

• Experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales
• Experience in Water Treatment, Swimming Pools, Animal Health, or Horticulture a plus
• Team spirit and excellent verbal communication skills. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Account Manager – Technical Sales

Job Description

• Services existing accounts providing pricing, delivery and technical support to increase account growth.
• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
• Closes new accounts by calling, answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
• Fills sales orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs.
• Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Inside Sales
• Experience in Water Treatment, Animal Health or Horticulture a plus.
• Team spirit and excellent verbal communication skills. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
